Chained To Your Love + bonus disc
Chained To Your Love + bonus disc Quantity in Basket: None
Price: $14.00
Artist: Seven Long Years
EXCLUSIVE CDR RELEASE! Previously a download-only release, the CD version comes with a 3-song bonus disc for a total of 14 tracks! Main man Eric Knoxx (The Ratboys, Thee Martian Boyfriends) gives us the skinny on the Kool Kat version of this, his solo debut - "I've slighty rearranged the order of the tracks compared to the digital download. I've subtracted a couple of songs that do not totally fit in with the global spirit of the album and add have added a couple of new songs that will be exclusive to the physical copies - songs from the new digital 7" that have received many positive reactions will also be included." "The opening moments of 'Don’t Break My Heart In Ink' make it very clear that this is a Psychedelic/Dream Pop explosion. Layers of sound are stacked one by one until the songs are so full they have nowhere to go but outward in all directions, and holds true for most of the record. It's percussive, but pleasingly melodic cover to cover. It's not 'all-sound-all-the-time', though. Knoxx does leave a little breathing room throughout the entire album, which is a good thing. You will need to catch your breath. His is a sound that pays homage to psychedelic and pop rock of the 60’s, embraced an up-to-date feel to achieve its enthralling sound. - PowerPopOverdose.com "Knoxx unleashes some groovy psych pop, conjuring up outfits like Yardbirds on through to Roky, among others. Fuzzy, bouncing and packed full of hooks, he churns out nuggets one after another, whether it’s the horn pumped stand out call to arms 'Take Over the World', the frenzied beatnik beached 'Dance Around the Fire' or the smooth hum of 'Stop What You’re Doin’'. It's a tight record that doesn’t skimp on the hooks." Mratavist.com COMES WITH AN EXCLUSIVE 3-SONG BONUS DISC FEATURING "LAS VEGAS JESUS", "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO", AND "A VERY EASY EXPLANATION" EXCELLENT!!
